Dr. Tong came to ACTS in November of 2019 after working with other educational institutions such as the University of British Columbia, the Vancouver School of Theology, Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Carey Theological College, and Simon Fraser University. He has held various positions as a lecturer, adjunct faculty, and assistant professor. Dr. Tong has been working with the ACTS Mandarin program as an adjunct faculty and in an administrative role, developing online and remote learning formats for Mandarin courses. He will continue to work on facilitating the growth of online delivery of Mandarin courses in addition to his teaching load.
