ACTS Seminaries Mandarin Students' Campaign to Help Fight COVID-19 Coronavirus in China

Students of ACTS Seminaries' Mandarin Theology Program are helping to fight COVID-19 Coronavirus in China.

In an effort to support communities in China who are severely affected by the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak, students from ACTS Seminaries' Mandarin Theology Program have collaborated with local Canadian churches to raise funds in an ongoing fundraising campaign.

As of February 2020, we have received over $30,000 CAD in donations.

These funds have been used to purchase medical supplies that are badly needed in the city of Wuhan, in Hubei province, and in other places in China.

The supplies that have been purchased include 21,000 surgical masks, 2,080 coverall protective garments and 80 goggles, for a total value of $30,000 CAD.

The first shipment of 1,000 protective garments arrived in China on February 24, 2020.

The second shipment of protective goggles and garments is projected to be shipped by the end of February. The third shipment is expected to be made in March.

Follow the progress of this campaign by checking back again. We will post updates here as we receive news.

We wish to thank those involved for their prayers, donations and hard work!
