Immerse is a four-year Master of Divinity program that engages you within a local ministry context for a journey of biblical and theological reflection, skill development and personal growth, helping you build the character and knowledge essential to ministry leadership. A ministry mentor and an academic mentor work with you throughout the program to help you develop the skills, competencies and character you need to be an effective minister of God.

Mentored-Ministry Learning Model Live out your academic assignments in the context of your life and ministry through the Immerse competency-based learning model. Guided by a team of mentors, work through a series of carefully-crafted learning experiences that help you accumulate and demonstrate the knowledge, skills and character required in ministry leadership.
Partnership with the Church
Immerse is based on partnership between ACTS Seminaries, denominational networks and local churches working together to mentor students through the program and ultimately, endorse graduates for positions of leadership and influence. Your education takes place within your ministry context, which means you don’t need to quit your ministry position to train for ministry.
Competency-Based Education
The Immerse program outlines 27 Ministry Learning Outcomes in which you need to demonstrate mastery before graduation. Assignments, instruction and your mentoring relationships will lead you step by step in developing your competencies in these areas that are essential for effective service in ministry.

Pastoral Ministry
Pastoral Ministry courses are designed to equip you with a philosophy of ministry as well as practical skills in the major areas of pastoral ministry - preaching, pastoral care and leadership.
ACTS Seminaries welcomes applicants who confess faith in Jesus, are members in or connected with a local church, and possess a desire for academic and spiritual growth within the ACTS Seminaries community. A bachelor degree from an accredited university or college is the standard academic prerequisite, along with a current ministry position that includes significant leadership responsibility.
