Experience Seminary Day: To Explore Your Calling

Daniel is the founding pastor of One Hope Community Church (Evangelical Free Church of Canada). His church is made up of “two congregations under one roof” (Korean and English), and as a fully bilingual person, he serves as the senior pastor and preacher for both congregations. He loves being part of academia, but he is also passionate about bringing sound theology and good theories into his pastoral ministry in the church.
Everything he reads and studies, he always asks, “What does it mean for the everyday Christians in God’s church? How can I bring it in such a way that it becomes life-changing truths for them?” His desire and calling is to become a bridge—between the mainstream Canadian culture and his ethnic community, between the generations within his own community, and between academia and the church.
In his spare time, he loves talking about all things Vancouver Canucks and playing tennis.
