Experience Seminary Day: To Explore Your Calling

Why ACTS Seminaries?

If you find yourself on this page, it probably says something about you: You’re driven to learn, to continue growing, and to embrace God’s leading in your life. While you might not know all that the future holds, you know that God is always good and always working. You seek the opportunity to join in God’s beautiful work of restoration. The only question is: how?

Maybe you’re hoping to become a ministry professional in a church setting, helping people learn and grow closer to God. Maybe you have felt the need for knowledge in your own life, wanting to go deeper in your faith. Or perhaps you work in another field and want to build your faith to be a more effective witness to the power of God. Whatever it may be, ACTS can help equip you.

Becoming someone who proclaims the gospel and lives fruitfully as a member of the body of Christ in this world isn’t easy. At ACTS, we provide an education deeply connected to and engaged with this post-Christendom multicultural world. For more than 30 years ACTS has provided a place where believers from different traditions have come together to provide the education needed for their churches to participate in the mission to which God has called them. Ultimately, our goal is for all students to become more conformed to Christ, and to help all those you encounter become more like Jesus as well.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I am not planning to be a pastor. Is seminary for me?

A: Yes! A seminary education is for anyone looking for a learning community who will help you learn what it means to live out the Gospel more fully in everyday life.

Q: I have been away from school for a long time. Will I be the oldest one in the classroom?

A: The average age of an ACTS Seminaries student is 36, but we have students in their 20’s, all the way to students in their 70’s. Many ACTS students have been away from formal education for a decade or more. Having students with a wealth of life experience in the classroom provides opportunity for incredibly rich and meaningful conversation.
