Church history examines what Christians at different times and in different places around the world believed about God, the Gospel and the Christian life. By learning how the Christian faith community has developed through time and around the world, you will better understand the development of your own faith tradition and how historical movements have influenced the development of your own church.
Start from the origins of the church in the first century and follow the growth and spread of the church into the Western world and beyond. Learning how people in different times and places have lived out the gospel illuminates how we are to live in our world today.
