The focus of this course is on the continuing development of the student’s competence in exegeting the Hebrew Bible. Emphasis is placed on enhancing both the knowledge base and the skills that are required to elucidate the original intended meaning of a biblical text in its original language, all with a view to preparing the student for teaching or expository preaching.
Prerequisite: BOT 601
