A close reading of one of Paul’s most extraordinary epistles, epitomizing the gospel he preached. The student will consider issues of text, genre and literary and ancient historical context in the process of exegetically laying out Paul’s Gospel and its implications for life and eternity. The purpose will be application in preaching and teaching to the modern context.
